Andrew Broomhall
Managing Director
Andy is part owner and director of Think Water with over 25 years experience in the pump and irrigation industry. Andy deals with the domestic and service part of the business.
Sam Broomhall
Managing Director
Sam has been working in and around the business for over 20 years. Having started off working in the field installing various irrigation and pumping equipment in the late 90s when Owen (Dad) was running the company. To now jointly running the company with brother Andy. His focus now is on the design, sales and business development within the company. His background also involved playing professional rugby for 8 years representing Canterbury,Crusaders and the All Blacks during this time.
Greg Wheeler
General Manager
Greg joined the Think Water team in 2016 coming from 20 years in operations. Greg had lots of great knowledge to share, and has created a friendly team environment for the field staff. Greg is also very much involved in the Leeston community with 28 years in the Leeston Volunteer Fire Brigade as a Deputy Chief Fire Officer.
Nathan Cooper
Drainage and Irrigation Service Coordinator
Nathan has five years’ experience in the civil industry and 5 years in the water reticulation industry, ranging from dewatering to laying large pipe work on grade on multiple projects.
Nathan has worked on and been site Foreman for projects for Downer and McConnell Dowell, and most recently a large irrigation project for Ngai Tahu, installing over 14km’s of pipe from 575mm to 150mm bringing this on time and on budget.
Bill Zhang
Finance Manager
Bill has recently joined the team after being at RuralCo for 20 years.
Derek Steele
Retail Manager
Derek joined the Think Water team in October 2018. His background is 32 years in logistics stores, with the last 10 in irrigation. He lives in Rolleston with his partner and 3 beautiful daughters.
